Agree that this is a great summary of “what can be improved”. As a developer with two apps in the iApp ITunesConnect store, the one thing that bugs me is that Apple holds the customer information. For obvious reasons (i.e. additional marketing and promotion, ask the customer for improvement suggestions), I think the developer should have access to that information. What good does it do Apple to have a list of 100′s of lawyers and/or admin assistants in law firms? (One of the apps is intended for lawyers).

I stopped listening to TWiT and This Week in Startups. Not sure why - I lost interest I guess. My favorite tech podcast right now is TechZing. Its a long show that details the trials and progress of a couple independent programmers. Very tech with a few crazy tangent (UFO's, etc.).

Hi Elizabeth,

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to order photos from 3rd parties from within iPhoto. Most of the 3rd party photo printers, however, require you to use their website anyway. To do this, you can drag the photos from iPhoto to a new folder on your Desktop (say “Temp Pics”). Then, when you use the 3rd party photo website, you will be able to browse for the photos on your Desktop to upload them. When you’re done uploading the pictures, you can delete the new folder from your Desktop and the photos will still remain in iPhoto. It’s not an elegant solution, but it works.

New Mac User! Help! I just finished your article about 20 tips to become iphoto power user…. great stuff, but I’m still stuck with one question. How in the world do I upload my photos to an outside source so I can order prints? Places such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc….
