Hi Elizabeth,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to order photos from 3rd parties from within iPhoto. Most of the 3rd party photo printers, however, require you to use their website anyway. To do this, you can drag the photos from iPhoto to a new folder on your Desktop (say "Temp Pics"). Then, when you use the 3rd party photo website, you will be able to browse for the photos on your Desktop to upload them. When you're done uploading the pictures, you can delete the new folder from your Desktop and the photos will still remain in iPhoto. It's not an elegant solution, but it works.

Glad you liked the article on Mac|Life! Thanks for reading.

New Mac User! Help! I just finished your article about 20 tips to become iphoto power user.... great stuff, but I'm still stuck with one question. How in the world do I upload my photos to an outside source so I can order prints? Places such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc....

Thanks for your time, Elizabeth
