Tag cloudiness

Some readers may have noticed a new link on my navigation bar to the side. Yup, I’ve added a tag cloud. If you run a WordPress powered blog, then you can also add this cool Tag Cloud via a free plugin & code snippet.

WP Cumulus allows you to place an interactive, flash-based tag cloud on any page you choose.

SearchMe

If you’re looking for a great way to search for websites, with the whole “cover flow” look, then SearchMe might be for you. When you search for something, you are presented with a cover flow-esqe view of a snapshot of the web page.

Transfer BIG Files

YouSendIt is great for those <100MB transfers via the interwebs. But what if you want to send files that are 1GB or less? Well, now there’s Transfer BIG Files. It allows you to send files up to 1GB in size. The best part: it’s totally free!

TypeRacer

If you love racing and love typing, then TypeRacer might be for you! This addictive “game” allows you to type for points in a race against other users. Trust me, if you don’t have wrist problems now, you will after playing this! If you play it too long, you hands WILL fall off, trust me.

Experiences are a best friend

This week, my personal blog turned 3 years old. I started using this as a personal blog back in April 2005. I did start a blog before this one (roughly 2003-2004) but the posts did not survive the server switches. It amazes me how much I’ve learned, how many awesome people I’ve met, and the experiences that I’ve had in that three year period.

Many of you know that I started working for AOL / Weblogs, Inc. in December of 2007 (I blog for The Unofficial Apple Weblog). Through the ~5 months I’ve been at TUAW, I’ve met so many incredible people that have definitely had an impact on my life (in a good way too). It is definitely incredible working there.

It’s great to see how my life (and the blogosphere) has changed in these past three years; I definitely won’t quit blogging any time soon … that’s for sure! I look forward to the new people that I will meet in the future and the experiences that I will have later on in life.

Here’s to the experiences!
