Google Docs / Apps to be available offline

March 31st, 2008 § 0 comments

A recent Macworld post suggests that Google may be allowing Google Docs users to work on their documents offline!

“The design goal is to create a seamless experience, with or without an Internet connection,” said Google Docs product manager, Ken Norton

According to the post, Google will be turning on this feature over the next few weeks; starting off with all word processor users. Google does have plans to extend this feature to the entire line of Google Apps, which includes: Calendar, Gmail, and other applications.
