Six years ago today, Apple reinvented the Operating System with a new OS called “Mac OS X”. (The “X” is pronounced as “10″, sorry… this bugs me when people pronounce it “X”). Mac OS X 10.0 (also called “Puma”) was the new face of the Mac Operating System; and light-years ahead of anything that Microsoft had at the time.
Today, we are awaiting the next generation of OS X, “Leopard”, which is being billed as “Released in Spring 2007.” If it truly will be released in “Spring,” only Steve knows. Happy Birthday OS X, live long, and prosper!
