Well, one day after releasing Remote Desktop 3, Apples does it again! Aperture, Apples professional photo editing and processing product gets a face-lift! Aperture 1.1 is now universal, and the same price as it predecessor, $299, which I believe is cheaper than before. I really like Aperture and am hopping to be getting this new universal version of it. Boy it would look great on my 20″ iMac Core Duo!

Apple, today introduced Remote Desktop version 3. This software is great for managing a bunch of Macs over the network in your home, or business. The introduction of version 3 is even better than RD 2. And, RD 3 is universal, so it will work with the Intel Macs!

Apple has released a piece of software for Tiger, and the new Intel Macs. This software updates does, the way Apples does, lets you easily install Windows XP Pro/Home on your Intel Mac. This software install partitions your macs hard drive, and you do the rest. I will probably never uses BootCamp, but I believe this will make people want to switch to Mac even more! Apple Computer was started on April 1, 1976; by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniack. Apple’s first computer was the Apple I, which sold for $666.66. Apple began to grow into a larger company in the early 80′s, with the Introduction of the Lisa, and Macintosh computers. The Macinotsh was introduced in 1984, which raised a large hype shortly before with a superbowl ad campaign in which the speaker said “On January 24, Apple Computer will introduce Macintosh, and you will see why 1984 won’t be like ’1984′.” Around 1986 Steve Jobs left Apple, and started NeXT Computer. NeXT became a great OS/Computer mix that evolve later into Mac OS X when Apple bought them out in the late 90′s. Despite all the hardwork that Apple had done in the Computer Industry, they almost went under around 1996. Apple’s CEO, Gil Amelio, asked Steve to come back and assume his position as Cheif Executive Officer of Apple. Steve did, and at the 1996 MacWorld Expo, had a real suprise, and a few words about Apple, and where they were heading. Steve stated at that MacWorld that he would be coming back as CEO, and that Microsoft had bought $100,000 of Apple Stock, in which they would not sell for five years; Also Apple would make Internet Explorer default on the Mac OS, this did not last for long however. From that point on Apple had continued to bring people to their platform, and in late 2001 announced ‘iPod’, Apple’s introduction into the MP3 market. Also in 2001, Apple opened their first retail store; and in 2006, Apple had opened over 125 of their own retail stores, in which they average around 1,000,000 visitors every week. Steve Jobs announced the first of the new Intel Macs in January 2006, and later in March 2006, Apple had moved half of their product line over to the new Intel chips. Apple still remains stronger than ever, with hundreds of ‘switchers’ every month.
